A set of 40 GIMP brushes used for GC-ing hair (and possibly fur, although I didn't design with it in mind). This is NOT a stamp brush collection! Idea based on Gymnart's Gimp Furr Brushes [link] with modifications to allow for better curves handlings required in long hair and an option for fine texturings.

There may be lot of redundancy in this set, so feel to delete any brush that you find useless. I've included them for testing purposes, and because they each have different critical angles per direction. Currently availible only as one size set, so what canvas size you use with this is limited (well, resolution is a problem with this type of brush anyways). This set is to be used with the smudge tool and multi-layers for best results.

You can use it in any artworks. Print is okay. No need to link back if you don't feel like it, but fav this if you find it useful so other people can find it too.

Have fun using it :)

I loved these when I used them in GIMP. I've made many great things with them but now I'd like to know if they work in Photoshop.

You need to go to the start button, go to 'computer' or 'my computer' [computers may vary]
Click Local Disk [c] > Program Files, then Locate your gimp file.
It's Gimp-2.0 for me, either way click the file. Go to 'share'>gimp> the version of gimp you have(there should only be one folder) Then go to brushes.
To get the brushes into the folder all you have to do is download the file copy and paste them into the brushes file, bam! There you have it.♥-shay.

Thanks. I've been looking for a good method of coloring hair~ I used this brush a couple times and I love it. If you like, I can give you the link to the one picture I've posted on dA (though I blurred it because it looked messy without it).
